Orama: the new venue for original film
About
The first-of-its-kind peer-review journal for original film and research on film, Orama releases four issues per year. Reviewed anonymously by a specialised and curated editorial board of experienced filmmakers and reviewers, accepted films and articles are published to the journal’s site. Orama offers a new venue for filmmakers to have their work evaluated, recognised and made available to new audiences. Its aims are:
To provide a platform that increases the visibility of artistically ambitious auteur films, thereby promoting and strengthening the art of film.
To promote new talent in the field of filmmaking.
Submissions are accepted from all filmmakers at all levels, individual or collaborations, in the categories of feature-length (60-90mins), documentary, shorts (10–20mins) and animation. We are happy to be surprised by a new category. We accept submissions in all languages and will publish with English subtitles where necessary.
We do not accept pornography or submissions containing any illegal content. Contributors are responsible for ensuring that all content submitted has the appropriate copyright permissions.
